This was really meant to be a week ago, but what the hey, exams popped up and stopped that from happening. Go figure. So here it is:
How is it that during finals week the beginning of the semester seemed like it was yesterday, yet that thing about Nietzsche--you know, that one specific thing you'll need to know for the exam--that was brought up in class two weeks ago seems to have happened 16 years ago? And how is it I can recall almost every minute of "Ghost Dog," which we watched *last* semester, but I can't remember the exact year of the Stamp Act, something I've known in the past and just looked at (and I mean just looked at)? Sigh...that's the way it goes.
Now I'm home, so thank goodness for that. It'll be a nice, relaxing week before another nine-hour drive to Virginia for my internship. I've never traversed West Virginia west-to-east via the Interstate, so that'll be fun (WV is one of my favorite places to drive, especially the Turnpike...so many turns and ups and downs) too; hopefully it won't be too much like I-90 between Buffalo and Syracuse, a.k.a. the most depressing part of my drive to/from Colgate.
Before I end what's probably going to be the last post of the year for me (makes sense), just wanted to say congrats to the seniors on graduating, especially Santiago and Tracy, and good luck in whatever it is you'll be doing. Whenever that starts.
And it wouldn't be the end of the year without an end-of-the-year shot from the library...
...an end-of-the-year WRCU photo (bye Drake station)...
...an end-of-the-year "this burger fell into the ash let's set it on fire" photo...
...and an end-of-the-year reposting of the greatest photo ever.
But I digress. Have a good summer, everyone.
